You can see the A of Hearts
and the K of Hearts. And
maybe you can make out the A
and K of Clubs. Yes, he has a
void in Diamonds. So, is that
an eight card Spade suit
headed by the A, K, Q, J, 10?
Yes, I do believe it is.
This was a fantasy hand that I
dealt the lucky chap when I
was drawing the piece for the
header. After having done it,
musing about it, I thought,
"Wow! If I ever got a hand like
that, I would bid 7NT!"
Oh silly moi! 7 Spades is a
sure thing. Diamonds are
forever in someone else's
hand. If it's my partner's hand
all the better, but only if and if
and if and if....
As you can see, I'm easily
entertained while
doing my work!
